The World Map – as you’ve never seen it before

Jaran de los Santos Olsen, former monk and now psychologist in Oslo, has created a unique map of the world, which shows the way via emotion-focused mindfulness and meditation. He will teach this at the weekend retreat in Sandviken on 8th and 9th of October. More info on this page.

Ajahn Brahm Weekend Retreat

Ajahn Nithos’ mentor, Ajahn Brahm, will come to Norway in November. We are organizing a weekend retreat and rented premises in Bjørndalen, Oslo, to accommodate a big retreat. The retreat starts on Friday evening 25th of November, and full information about the retreat can be found on this web page.

It’s not your fault!

Bhikkhuni Ayya Canda and Ajahn Brahm will lead an event at The House of Litterature in Oslo 29th of November. The topic will be how we react, when things go wrong, and we start blaming and showing bad actions – while heavy emotions take their toll. When we in reality aspire to be happy and free – both during ups and downs – what do we do? Ayya Canda and Ajahn Brahm are invited to share their experiences – Ayya Canda right now blazing a trail for women in UK – Ajahn Brahm with his trademark knack for telling engaging stories. The Advisor Group

Later this autumn, we will try to formalize the adviser group in OVBF. We have a few people interested, but hope more people can join in. Can you help us with good advice and suggestions? More information on this website.
