Historisk museum i Oslo, har noen veldig gamle Buddha statuer i samlingen sin, og de var villig til å være vert for De Forente Nasjoners Vesak feiring i Oslo 2022 – kombinert med en utstilling av disse gamle skattene. Mange foreninger i Norge var representert sammen med Buddhistforbundet, og Den Thailandske Buddhistforeningen var arrangør.

Så i tråd med FNs ønsker om tema for samlingen, ble Ajahn Nitho invitert til å snakke om buddhismens forhold til miljø-endringer og -utfordringer.
